Sport Line specialists finished installation of sports equipment in the Aquatics Palace in Kazan.
This venue of the Summer Universiade 2013 is ready to receive young athletes from all over the world. The Aquatics Palace in Kazan is one of the largest indoor sports venues and today is the best water complex in Russia.
Middle March Vladimir Putin visited Kazan within his working visit. The Head of the Russian Federation was accompanied by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding the XXVII World Summer Universiade Igor Shuvalov, Minister of Youth Affairs, Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafis Burganov, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Vitaly Mutko and others.
While visiting the venue Rafis Burganov and Vitaly Mutko told the Head of the Russian Federation about the sports venue and about test competitions in swimming (synchronised swimming and diving) that will take place at the Palace in April and May 2013.
Putin remained pleased by the seen and said: «Nice work!».
According to the plan after the Universiade different competitions in diving and swimming will take place here. 2015 the Aquatics Palace will receive the World Championship in water sports.
