The capital of the 27th Summer Universiade 2013 hosts two world university championships

On August 31st in Kazan – the capital of the 27th Summer Universiade 2013 – the 5th World University Canoe Sprint Championship was finished. The championship was held in the Rowing Center on Lake Middle Kaban.
The specialists of Sport Line provided technical support of the Championship on the highest level.
The Rowing Canal, built in the capital of Tatarstan as part of the preparation for the Universiade, is a unique training and competition venue that meets all modern standards and requirements of international federations of rowing sports.
For this unique sports venue Sport Line supplied and installed:
- timing and scoring system (Swiss Timing, Switzerland)
- course lane marking with a buoys system Albano (Polaritas, Hungary)
- automatic start system (Polaritas, Hungary), consisting of one course lane for rowing races and three course lanes for canoe-kayak races.
Only a few days later, the same venue - the Rowing Center - will be hosting the World University Rowing Championship. Specialists of Sport Line will be providing support for the competitions again.
