The XXVII World University Summer Games ended on the 17th of July in Kazan. Within 11 days final competitions in 351 numbers of the program were held here.
The national team of Russia took the first place in overall medal standings – it won 292 medals,155 of them are gold!
All the competitions of the World Summer Universiade in Kazan were held on the highest level. The athletes who took part in the Universiade and official persons noticed that quality of the sporting venues, infrastructure, accommodation etc. were perfect.
